
My Story
Hello, I’m Avinesh Bundhoo, and this is my story—a journey of discovery, resilience, and a passion for turning ideas into impact. It’s a story that has taken me from internships to local projects to global campaigns, and now into the exciting world of marketing data.
My journey began in 2017 when I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Like many graduates, I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do, but I was eager to explore. My first internship at the District Council of Grand Port taught me a lot, but it also made me realize that this wasn’t the path for me. It was a humbling experience, but it pushed me to keep searching for something that truly resonated with me.
Discovering Digital Marketing
Luckily, later that year, I participated in the Smart APS internship, where I discovered digital marketing. It was a game-changer. I was fascinated by the creativity, strategy, and endless possibilities of the digital world. But breaking into the field wasn’t easy.
I took a detour into the telecommunications industry, gaining valuable experience while keeping my eyes open for opportunities in digital marketing.
In 2018, I found that opportunity. I came across an internship at a company called Smart Cookie, and it was there that I truly fell in love with digital marketing.
Every day was a learning experience, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I was hungry to grow, and I started teaching myself new skills, experimenting with ideas, and pushing my limits.
Venturing into Entrepreneurship
Around the same time, I launched Mrclass, a dropshipping venture where I sold products online. It was my first taste of entrepreneurship, and though it was challenging, it taught me the importance of adaptability and resilience.
By 2020, I co-founded Mimshacks, a platform designed to automate messenger services. It was an exciting project that allowed me to combine my technical and creative skills to solve real-world problems.
In 2021, I took another leap by co-founding Mimshacks Studios with my friend Klerish. We provided photography and videography services for corporate and wedding events.
It was a completely different industry, but it taught me the value of storytelling and the power of visual content. I loved the creative process and the joy of capturing meaningful moments for our clients.
Stepping into the Global Arena
My professional career took a significant turn in 2022 when I joined Publicis Media, a global leader in marketing and communications.
Here, I had the incredible opportunity to manage leading brands like UEFA, working on their search accounts for UEFA TV, the UEFA Store, and the UEFA Champions League app campaigns.
It was a dream come true to work on such high-profile projects and see the impact of my work on a global scale.
In 2023, I handled the account of Reckitt Benckiser, the parent company of well-known brands like Scholl, Gaviscon, Durex, Biofreeze, Nurofen, and Strepsils.
Working in the pharmaceutical industry was a new challenge, but it deepened my understanding of complex, multi-faceted campaigns and the importance of precision in marketing.

Leading Global Campaigns & Bridging Partnership
By 2024, I was Global Search Lead for Pierre Fabre , overseeing search strategies for markets across Europe, the USA, Mexico, Australia, and later expanding to Poland, Belgium, Bulgaria, and South Korea.
In this role, I also work closely with Google France, especially the Global Brand Lead, to ensure that we are excelling in the dermocosmetics industry.
It was a rewarding experience to see how data-driven strategies could drive success on a global scale. Beyond managing campaigns, I lead the search team in Mauritius and Morocco—a talented group of 13 individuals.
Together, we are responsible for managing high-profile accounts for global giants like Pfizer and LVMH, ensuring their digital strategies are optimized for maximum impact.
Consultancy & Training: Empowering Businesses





Alongside my corporate roles, I’ve had the privilege of providing consultancy services to companies like Acudemy UK and Olabet, helping them build AI-driven business solutions and optimize their digital strategies.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been training international companies that take digital marketing seriously.
By sharing my expertise in data-driven strategies, AI integration, and digital transformation, I’ve helped these businesses unlock their full potential and achieve their goals.
This experience has not only been incredibly fulfilling but has also reinforced my belief in the power of tailored, data-driven solutions.
The Next Chapter - Embracing Marketing Data
Today, I’m excited to explore the world of marketing data. I want to help companies make better decisions by leveraging data to uncover insights, optimize strategies, and drive meaningful results. It’s a new chapter in my story, but it feels like a natural progression of everything I’ve learned and experienced so far.
